New Year, New Look for Bill Pay!

Beginning January 4, 2021, you may notice a new look for Destinations Bill Pay service. We're always looking for ways to better serve you. Instead of launching a new tab, bill pay will be embedded within It's Me 247.

Scholarship Opportunity

Are you headed off to college or trade school in 2021?  Well, Destinations is pleased to announce our college scholarship to make it easier for you to meet tuition costs. The $12,000 Credit Union College Scholarship Program for 2021 is now accepting applications!  College-bound members are eligible to apply for one of ten $1,000 essay-based scholarships; one $1,000 video-based scholarship; and one $1,000 photo-based scholarship.  And, yes, you may apply in all three categories!

Deadline for applications is March 31, 2021.  Scholarship winners will be announced in May 2020.

This year’s essay topic:
“How do credit unions demonstrate the phrase, “Not For Profit, Not For Charity, But For Service?”

This year’s video topic:
“Create a 60-second video showing how credit unions help families achieve their financial goals.”

This year’s photo theme is:
“Improving Lives”

Any member of Destinations Credit Union entering their freshmen through senior year of college or trade school may apply. 

“We’re pleased to offer this opportunity for our young members,” said Brian Vittek, President/CEO of Destinations.  “The awardees receive needed financial assistance to help them meet their tuition expenses and the application topics stimulate innovative and useful responses to help us better serve our college-aged members.”

Events

The Annual Meeting of Destinations Credit Union will be held on Thursday, March 18, 2021 at 4:00 pm. Due to the continuing uncertainty of the current pandemic, this meeting will be held virtually. The link to the meeting will be added to below as the meeting date approaches.
 
To access the Annual Meeting you will need the following information to log in:
  • Member number
  • Last 4 digits of your Social Security Number
 

Call for Nominations

As a member of the Credit Union, you are also an owner. You have the right to elect the Board of Directors. The Nominating Committee is seeking interested and qualified members to serve on the Board. Three incumbent, three-year terms will be open for the 2021.
 
The Nominating Committee requires a Director to be a member in good standing for at least 2 years and be 18 years or older with qualified experience. If any applicant is not nominated by the Nominating Committee as a candidate for the Board of Directors, the applicant may seek nomination by a petition signed by the membership. The deadline for applications is Friday, December 18, 2020. If there are more than three candidates for the open seats, a mail ballot will be sent to all qualified members. The election results will be announced at the Annual Meeting on March 18.
