Board of Directors Election Update
Serving as a Board Director for Destinations Credit Union can be of great value, providing some of the following benefits:
- The opportunity to participate in a unique organization. Credit unions are member-owned and operate for the benefit of the membership’s financial wellbeing.
- Becoming a representative voice for our members. As a Director, you play a pivotal role in providing solutions to our members’ financial needs and have a say in the direction the Credit Union is taking.
- As a resource for personal growth. Service on the Board offers the chance for enhancing current knowledge and skills regarding financial operations and the credit union movement through potential training events or conferences.
- Providing a path for career advancement. A seat on a Board can be viewed as a respected position, offering notable qualifications for resumes.
The Nominating Committee is seeking interested and qualified members to serve on the Board. There are currently two, three-year terms up for reelection.
To be eligible for nomination by the Nominating Committee, an applicant must:
- Be at least 18 years of age or older with qualified experience.
- Be a member in good standing for at least two years.
- Commit to attend regular monthly meetings and any special meetings of the Board of Directors when called.
- Commit to participate in and successfully complete any required training.
If any applicant is not nominated by the Nominating Committee as a candidate for the Board of Directors, the applicant may seek nomination by a petition signed by a minimum of one percent of the members in good standing.

The deadline for applications is Friday, December 19, 2025. Nominations from the floor will not be accepted during the Annual Meeting. If the number of nominees exceed the number of available positions, a ballot will be sent to all qualified members. Election results will be announced at the Annual Meeting on March 19, 2026
